Stumbling through

So I finally got all signed up for Flickr (and Yahoo and Google...., too many passwords!), which I know is really easy, but when it didn't work right away the "I'm too old for this!" buzz started in my head and I had to step back for a while. But I'm getting a handle on it now so yay me.
I tell my Basic Internet students all the time that you just have to submit to the logic, so now I need to take my own advice. And whattayaknow, it works!

lifelong learning

So I watched the 7 1/2 tutorial and am feeling pretty good about being a lifelong learner. I love to travel, but almost more than the traveling I love to plan trips and the internet has made that amazingly easy! It may even be too much of a good thing, because I am a micro-planner and the Internet lets me plan down to the tiniest detail including where to eat and what to order.(http://www.menupages.com. )I promise though, when I am actually on a trip I do loosen up and am more spontaneous. :)
I do cross-stitch which often involves learning a new technique, and puzzles, and am going to try really really hard to pick up these new 2.0 technologies.
I think the easiest habit of the 7 1/2 will be play. I love to play!
